It is often hard to predict the enemies animations and therefor time their attacks. And in the event that you get low, go there immediately don't mess around trying to kill one more guy or clear one more room. But make sure to note where there are pickups if you can. For this reason most of the time you don't need health.
#THE PERSISTENCE PSVR FULL#
I find you are most often at full health or near death in The Persistence, and rarely in between. Can clear all enemies other than Weepers and Bloodhound with Electro Baton once upgraded. Can kill all normal enemies and berzerkers easily with upgraded electro baton. Baton is the best way to deal with Lurkers IMO.

Upgrading to the electro baton is very good for any lvl 1-2 enemies. It is best way to kill Sentinels (3 shots).50 cal is also good but not needed. Sentinel Handgun is very useful and effective vs most enemies. (be mindful of the timer, don't get caught surrounded when it wears off) Best used when you are cornered/near death/have no DM to TP/ or must clear a Room. Rage is one of the best things to have in the game, as you are invulnerable and can easily deal with a room full of enemies. Try to always have at least one Rage serum as an Escape / last resort option. And just use one, or two at most to clear any room with more that two enemies. Make sure you try to keep an object between you, until you are ready to Tp next to them and kill. If you have one tracking you, back into a corner and continually scan until you see them. Grab them ASAP and slam them around with your face 3-4 times then throw them. When you see a Weeper in a scan, teleport near them quickly (long as they are alone). (great for picking up items quickly as well, no charges used) But you need this to kill weepers, save it for them. Next you must walk around with at least a few Grav Gun charges. Weepers most importantly can be heard weeping and are always staring at the floor. Scan all rooms with Triangle before proceeding. Always teleport away from enemies that get close, no reason to even risk blocking some of the larger enemies. Unless you have a strong melee weapon in hand, or have Rage mode on. (you can do this far most often than you might think, and can sometimes scout out these objects on the 3D mini map) You can also teleport through small gaps that enemies can't go through to kite them with gun fights or just buy time. Teleport on top of crates and other objects to become inaccessible to the enemy. Teleport behind enemies for stealth kill. Having faster Dark Matter regen is very important for this reason. I under used teleport so much at the start.

So here are the Tips and Tricks I find best with my 25ish hours of play.įirst and biggest suggestion.

And I only died the first time cause I TP'd to my death on accident off an edge. I have now completed the game 3 times Once with each ending, and last time on Survival with only 2 clones used. Most of your death however come from lack of knowledge and skill in the alien environment of The Persistence. Great game btw :) But it can be frustrating and hard. Seen many people having some trouble with The Persistence.
